I became “well collected” for my works in miniature of flora, fauna & the surreal. In my works of wildlife I find I get very involved in minute detail. Trying to break away from this, I now paint very large landscapes mostly of wild places that excite & intrigue me. I paint freely & surprise myself with the lively results, the images & atmosphere of the places I really love. It is a new way of satisfying my wanderlust that in the past has been an obsession.
